A Martial Art and Police Defence Meeting was held in Valencia on 22nd and 23rd November 2003. A showing course was carried out on 22nd morning with the participation of several defence disciplines experts. All the police instructors and martial arts experts proposed for the Hall of Fame Awards took part in it. Both International School of Martial Arts in Spain and in USA organized the event. A debate was held in the afternoon and it was led by Mr Alfredo Tucci, Budo International Director. Police instructors the world over, specially those of New York, took part in it.

The Hall of Fame Awarding Dinner was held in the evening. Instructor F.I.B.D/D.A. Octavio was appointed Instructor of the Year. He received a trophy and put his name in the book of honour. Important personalities from the martial arts world attended the dinner. The F.I.B.D/D.A had the great honour of having been proposed for the awards through one of its instructors. The F.I.B.D/D.A thanks willingly Mr Alfredo Tucci for this consideration, and Colonel & great expert Mr Santiago Sanchis for his warm welcome and splendid organization. A lunch and a following bullfight were held on Sunday 23rd. Well-known bullfighter Mr Angel de la Rosa attended the event. Mr Alfredo Tucci surprised everyone by his so far unknown skills as a bullfighter. He proved us that he is not only able to run splendidly the Budo International magazine.
